Grassi Bogs is a Town of Marion property managed by the Marion Open Space Acquization Commission. The area is open 8 am to sunset. No motorized vehicles are permitted beyond the parking area. It once was an active cranberry bog and is now being reconfigured as a conservation area. A nice wide trail goes completely around the former bog, with 2 bridges crossing through the middle. A nice walk and a good place to bird. It is a tick area so be careful and check your clothes when leaving. The cache is in a camouflaged snap lid box. Please rehide carefully.
