What: This CITO event is being held with the approval of the City of Chesapeake Parks, Recreation, & Tourism department. Newton Neck Park is a new city park on a 90-acre parcel of waterfront forest. However, due to the tides and unauthorized dumping, a lot of trash has been deposited on the shoreline and near the entrances. Our goal is to clean it up and get it out of the park.
Where: 5550 Bainbridge Point, Chesapeake, VA 23320. Parking is on the circle at the corner of Bainbridge Point and Bainbridge Bvld.
When: Saturday, March 25, 2023. The event starts at 0900 and runs until 1200 noon.
