Laundry mat shenanigans
1. Pranks such as sneaking into other people's laundry machines and throwing their clothes around are common.
2. Some people sneak in extra loads of laundry, so that they don’t have to pay extra.
3. It's not unusual for people to lose coins down the cracks of the machines, or for someone to take them for their own use.
4. While washing, people tend to multitask, such as using the time to make phone calls, surf the internet, and do their other laundry.
5. Not to mention, sleeping in the dryer machines or chatting with neighbors are also popular activities.
6. Fights have broken out over stealing quarters or hogging machines for too long.
7. Many times people put their laundry in and quickly disappear only to find out later that it got stuck in the machine and was eaten by another patron.
8. Loud music, crying babies, and intense video gaming can also be expected.
9. Most interestingly, some laundromats are the go-to places for those who seek help with the odd task.
10. Lastly, the popular custom of trading candy and snacks amongst laundromat dwellers has been well-documented.
