At Christmas 2022, I was given a new disc golf disc, which I dyed with the geocaching logo. (Picture in background on the geocaching website.) It gave me the idea to combine my hobbies, and so, I have placed caches around various disc golf courses in the area. The only course I am missing is Robert Burnaby, but it was too saturated to put another cache.
This is a fun little 9 hole course. It has some short holes, and some long holes, some open holes, and some wooded holes. It's good for practicing lines and playing with friends. This particular course has come under fire in the last few months by neighbours who don't like it there. Hopefully that will pass, and disc golfers and residents can mix well together. And if we add some geocachers to the mix, that will make everyone happy!
The cache itself is a red bison tube hidden in the side of an old stump. It is near the first tee, but out of the way of disc golfers, unless someone really griplocks it. Still, the location of the cache will protect you from errant discs. Good luck, and play a round of disc golf while you're there. You'll enjoy it.
