This is it! The Geocachers of Long Island's BIG ANNUAL EVENT! It's a GeoPalooza! And we're inviting you to visit!

New date & location for 2023!
Come hang out with the Geocachers of Long Island at (GCA5QX4) on Saturday, September 2, 2023 for a day of fun games, geo-friends and, of course, geocaching!
Join us at the Smithtown Historic Society's Preservation Village to enjoy a fun day with fellow geocachers in a beautiful historic setting. The 20 acre village has several historic buildings and exhibits that retell some of the Island's history. All that and some excellent Long Island geocaches.
Long Island's Geopalooza is more than just a fun full day of geocaching activities – also check out the satellite events around Long Island in the days before and after the event!

EVENT DETAILS: The Main Event will be held Saturday, September 2nd at the Smithtown Historic Society's Preservation Village, 239 E Main St. Smithtown, NY 11787, from 9am-3pm. There will be other events and activities run over the weekend, many geocaches to find in the area too, more details will come in the next few months. Leashed pets are welcome! Smoking is permitted in designated areas, absolutely no alcohol is permitted on the Village grounds.
Parking is available on site.

GoLI was created to: a) support, promote and enhance geocaching on Long Island by encouraging an active, helpful and fun geocaching community; b) create fun, educational and social geocaching events; and c) be an advocate for geocaching with property managers, government agencies and the general public. GoLI is a member-supported organization with membership options available at various levels, including free. GoLI membership not required to attend this event.
