Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Northern Rivers Rail Trail that starts in Murwillumbah and in time will finish at Casino. Presently you can go as far as Crabbes Creek - 24km south. The trail passes through 4 villages and 2 sidings as well as through 2 tunnels - Burringbar tunnel is over 500m long, where you'll need a TORCH or bike light, and has glow worms and micro bats.  The other is Hulls Road tunnel that is about 50m in length. We encourage you to take time to stop and read the signs about the history, culture and nature you are passing through and very importantly take in the vistas of the valley as well as the changing countryside's use and flora and fauna. ENJOY!

This stop is an example of the typical wooden bridges that were found along this rail line.
