What is the GPS Adventures Maze?
The Maritime Mega V (GC9V5Q6) organizing committee is proud to host an educational and interactive stroll through the game of Geocaching. This simple maze includes content that will be entertaining and interesting to anyone from those brand new to the game to the most seasoned geocacher. The GPS Adventures Exhibit icon will be earned by completing the walk through the exhibit and signing the log.

The GPS Adventures Maze Canada is non-profit experience hosted by geocachers, for geocachers. This is only possible due to gracious sponsor donations and volunteer effort, and funding from GPS Adventures Maze Canada swag sales. Please consider supporting the production of this unique opportunity by commemorating your visit with some of the fun and unique products we will be offering. GPS Adventures Maze Canada products will be available at the venue during the three days of the exhibit.
Where and When Can You Find It?
The GPS Adventures Maze Canada exhibit will be hosted at the Capital Winter Club, 232 Rookwood Ave Fredericton NB E3B 2M2, from Friday, July 7th to Sunday, July 9th, 2023. The building and maze will be handicap accessible and have washrooms on the premises. Parking is at the provided waypoint, just south of the building.
The GPS Adventures Maze Canada exhibit is FREE and open to the public.
Please note the hours below for access:
- Friday- July 7th, 2023 (1200 - 1300 hrs) - 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM - Friends of the Mega (FOTM) and VIP
- Friday - July 7th, 2023 (1300 - 1600 hrs) - 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM - Open to the public
- Saturday - July 8th, 2023 (1000 - 1600 hrs) - 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM - Open to the public
- Sunday - July 9th, 2023 (1000 - 1300 hrs) - 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM - Open to the public
How Can You Attend It?
Please log a "will attend" on this event page, to let us know that you are planning to join us to experience the GPS Adventure Maze Canada.
If you have Become Friends of the Mega at www.maritimemegav.com by making a donation to MMV, you will have priority access to the GPS Adventure Maze Canada, on Friday, July 7, 12-1 PM, and on every day it is open. Our a-Maze-ing volunteers will manage access in a fair manner between lines to ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy the maze.
To attend the maze simply show up at the Capital Winter Club at the appropriate times above, and enjoy your walk through the GPS Adventures Maze Canada, and sign the log book at the exit. Submit your attended log online like any other geocaching event to complete your "find."
How Can You Prepare for Your Visit?
We are anticipating large crowds for this unique experience and our volunteers will do their best to ensure everyone gets the opportunity to enjoy their visit. During peak periods, it is possible that there may be up to a one-hour wait, based on experiences from similar mazes elsewhere.
Now, we know this is the Maritimes and the weather can change at any minute, so keep in mind that it can get quite hot in early July (80°F - 85°F, or 26°C - 30°C) so please plan appropriately if you wish to visit during peak periods, as the lineups may not be shaded from direct sunlight. Bring water (because a good geocacher always has their water) to stay hydrated, and a cheerful disposition to enjoy the company of the other geocachers who are also eager to experience the maze.

How Can You Help With The GPS Adventures Maze Canada?
The first way anyone can help is to sign up as a volunteer, and our amazing volunteer coordinators (Team K2) will work with you to get you scheduled where they can. We will need volunteers to help assemble the maze, manage the operation and assist visitors, and then take it all down at the end of the event.
We are seeking sponsors for the GPS Adventures Maze Canada, so please watch this event page or follow us on social media for some announcements VERY SOON about how you can have your business or organization name highlighted on the maze panels.

Comment vous préparer?
Nous attendons de grandes foules pour cette expérience sans pareille, et nos bénévoles feront tout en leur possible pour s’assurer que chacun a l’occasion de profiter de sa visite. Pendant les périodes de pointe, il est possible que l’attente atteigne une heure si l’on se fie aux labyrinthes semblables organisés ailleurs.
Nous savons que la météo peut changer rapidement dans les Maritimes et qu’il peut faire très chaud au début de juillet 26°C à 30°C (80°F à 85°F). Préparez-vous en conséquence si vous prévoyez de venir pendant les périodes de pointe, car il se peut que les files ne soient pas à l’abri de la lumière directe du soleil. Apportez de l’eau (tout bon géocacheur a toujours de l’eau avec lui) pour bien vous hydrater et votre bonne humeur pour profiter de la compagnie des autres géocacheurs qui ont également hâte de parcourir le labyrinthe.

Comment offrir votre aide à GPS Adventures Maze Canada?
La première façon d’offrir votre aide consiste à s’inscrire en tant que bénévole. Nos merveilleux coordonnateurs de bénévoles (équipe K2) communiqueront avec vous pour déterminer l’horaire qui convient. Nous aurons besoin de bénévoles pour monter le labyrinthe, gérer les opérations et aider les visiteurs et pour le démontage à la fin de l’événement.
Nous sommes à la recherche de commanditaires pour l’événement GPS Adventures Maze Canada. Surveillez cette page ou suivez nos comptes de médias sociaux, car nous annoncerons TRÈS BIENTÔT ce qu’il faut faire pour que le nom de votre entreprise ou de votre organisation figure sur les panneaux du labyrinthe.
