Louisville is situated 60 km north east of Hobart. The village of Orford is 4 km away. Once you could have caught the ferry to Maria Island from Louisville Point.
It has been a long time since we have driven into Louisville and today we did. The old Louisville Resort then Eastcoaster Resort and now Eastcoaster is undergoing and has undergone extensive renovations. There are also a number of new homes and villas in the area. It looks like a great place to stay.
After finding the cache it is well worth a visit just to see the development in the area.
