Here you will find yourself at an old siren! It was placed here in the mid 1970's by Tidbinbilla rangers to alert park visitors if there was a bushfire! The siren was battery operated, and was VERY LOUD!!! Other than regular testing, it had never been used! In the end, ironically, it was damaged beyond repair by the 2003 fires!
