Anita was born in 1890 in Málaga, Spain, the city where she spent her childhood with her sister Victoria, her parents, and her grandmother. Due to life circumstances, her family was forced to sell the business they owned. And when, months later, her grandmother died, they decided to sell the house and start a new life somewhere else. This was the reason for leaving Málaga and moving to Madrid.
In the capital, her father could not find work and this situation became increasingly difficult, but one day luck suddenly smiled on them in a surprising way. It all started with some dance lessons that the downstairs neighbor gave Anita and her sister for free because they could not afford them...
