Along this route, you will find beautiful olive and citrus groves. Walking through the valley you have an amazing view of the surrounding mountains and their wildlife. This route also takes you through one of the region's typically small villages and past the beautiful, old house that once belonged to the famous Anita Delgado. Since she was still officially married to the Maharajah and Spain was burdened by Franco's strict regime, their love was not allowed to be known and so they went to live together in his house in the countryside in a village (Las Mellizas) outside Malaga. There at the house, a little station was made especially for her so she could "secretly" visit him. The story goes that underground passages were also made for her so she could secretly escape should the need arise.
And that house where they could secretly meet each other is the one we bought now. That is why our hotel is called "La estacion del amor", the station of love and why our bungalow was named “Casa Kapurthala”.
