"Pitchers of Wine" Puzzle
A cache done as a bit of fun.........Enjoy!
I have three wine Pitchers, which can hold 3, 8 and 5 litres respectively. One has 8 litres of wine in it and the other two are empty. I have no marker pens and No means of measurement apart from the containers themselves.
The problem is that I need to divide it up so that I am left with 4 litres in one container and 2 litres in another and 2 litres in another.
Question A....Can it be done? If so, what is the minimum amount of operations I need to complete?
If the answer is No then No = 0 or the answer is the Number of Operations 1 - 9
