This park is dedicated to Kenneth Leo Marvin (19A1 - 20BC), he was a local Gig Harbor resident who joined the Marine Corps in 19XX and fought in WWII. He was captured by the Japanese on Wake Island in 194D and was interned in a Prisoner of War camp in Japan for a total of 1,E5F days.
