Geocache Description:

UPDATE:  After muggles walked away with the 3D printed versions of this cache multiple times, I've upgraded to full stainless steel!  Look in the gallery, I've posted photos of the cache so you know what to look for.  You will need a magnetic item to remove the log.

This cache is a tribute to the time I spent studying in the math department at WOU and a way to draw attention to a stunning piece of public art by Jesse Small.

Zeno was an Italian-born Greek philosopher whose ancient riddles about motion and infinity have fascinated mathematicians for centuries.

He argued that if you want to walk somewhere you must first walk halfway there, at which point you need to walk half of the remaining distance.  And then you have to walk halfway again and again and would be stuck endlessly walking half of each new distance, never reaching your goal.

But fear not, your search for the cache will not be endless!  Keep an eye out for something just slightly out of place.  Feel free to post photos.
