Two Knight Checkmate
This is a 3 stage multi-cache. You need only gather information at the first two stages, and the final features a field puzzle / gadgetcache. All stages are within the Brown's Point trail area.
STAGE 1: At the Posted coordinates you will find a plaque in stone. Question: How many times does the word 'Niagara' appear on this plaque? Answer = A
STAGE 2: At the Stage 2 coordinates you will find a tree (on the river side of the trail) with distinct markings on it. Question: What is the total number of markings on this tree? Answer = B
FINAL:
1. Take your answers from stage 1 and 2. Calculate: C = [(A + B) x 37]
2. For final coordinates, take your calculated answer C and divide it by 1000, then add this value to both North and West of the following meaningless coordinates: N43 11.374' W079 2.842'
You can validate your puzzle solution with
certitude.
- Please note, at the final you will need to solve a field puzzle to gain access to the log, and you must sign the logsheet to claim a find. No battery or special tools required, you can leave your TOTT's at home for this one.
- You will be looking for a Large geocache, but the logbook will be found inside a Test Tube container.
- We ask that you kindly reset everything as found once finished.
- Please note that despite the size rating there is no room for TB's or swag here, sorry!
Good luck!
Congrats to NFJK on FTF!
