Dieser Cache hat einen Vorgänger an der gleichen Stelle (Ureinwohner I). Er wurde im August 2009 gelegt und wurde seit diesem Tag ca. 2500 mal geloggt. Erfreulicherweise erhielt er auch 7 Favoriten!
Vor Ort haben sich Veränderungen ergeben, so dass das alte Final nicht mehr gut zugänglich war. Dies führte auch zu Problemen mit geocaching.com, die daraufhin den Ursprungs-Cache archivierten.
Inzwischen wurde das Gelände vor dem Museum vollständig mit einem Zaun umgeben, so dass auch der zweite Cacheplatz nicht mehr ungehindert zugänglich ist. Das Zufahrtstor ist nur noch zu den Öffnungszeiten des Museums geöffnet. Wir haben daher vor kurzem (am 08. März 2024) das Cacheversteck nach außen verlegt, so dass es ungehindert zugänglich ist.
Zum Hintergrund des Caches: Mallorcas Geschichte geht meist im Trubel der Touristenströme unter. Wer sich aber dafür interessiert, findet hier einen Ort, an dem die Frühgeschichte der Besiedlung Mallorcas in einem kleinen, aber sehr netten Museum, präsentiert wird. Die Öffnungszeiten sind etwas ungewöhnlich. Ihr findet sie in den beigefügten Bildern. Wer will, kann hier aber einfach auch nur einen Cache heben.

This cache has a predecessor at the same location (Native I). It was placed in August 2009 and has been logged about 2500 times since that day. Fortunately, it also received 7 favourites!
There have been changes on site so that the old final was no longer easily accessible. This also led to problems with geocaching.com, who then archived the original cache.
Now there is a fence around the complete area builded. So it is not possible to reach the cache final without obsticles. Only during the opening hours from the museum you can reach it.
So we have changed the final place (on 08. March 2024). The cache ist located outside the fence in the public area at the outer wall of the building (see spoiler picture).
However, we find the small historical museum of Manacor so interesting that we want to continue the cache - in a slightly changed location.
About the background of the cache: Mallorca's history is usually lost in the hustle and bustle of the tourist crowds. But if you are interested, you will find a place here where the early history of Mallorca's settlement is presented in a small but very nice museum. The opening hours are a little unusual. You can find them in the attached pictures. But if you want, you can also just lift a cache here.
