With most caches in and around Windhoek not being large, we wanted to create a travel bug hotel that will hopefully be safe and secure for all sizes of TBs to help them on their mission.
The cache is situated close to center of town, at the Animal Hospital, in Simeon Shixungileni Street, also previously known as Bismarck Street, just up the street from the store "Game". It is not new, but moved with the business in Feb/ March 2023 but was too far from the old location to shift the original cache.
The TB hotel is situated on the outside of the main building, but behind the gate so that it may be kept safe. You are welcome to enter the gate and go straight, it is hidden in plain site. The gate is open as follows:
Mo-Fr: 7h30-13h00 & 14h30-18h30
Sat: 8h00-11h00 & 17h30-18h00
Sun & Public Holidays: 10h30-11h00 & 17h30-18h00
The TB hotel as nothing to do with the location or the businesses around, but amazing Geocachers work here and the owners and employees are aware of the hotel.

Don't forget to sign the logbook & feel free to write your favourite travel, geocaching or other quote onto the inside of the wooden box or any container in the hotel. Pens are in the hotel.
