This is our first geocache placed so if there are some flaws please be patient with us! It's often quite muddy so we recommend using the gate and it's supposed to be tucked under something. You're looking for a black and clear box around 10cm tall.
We decided to put it in a hedegehog house to raise awareness for the decreasing number of hedeghogs in Britain as this is an often overlooked issue. Littering and removal of space has driven them to extremely low numbers so we decided to give them some safe space like the university and some local schools.Up to 77% of all british hedgehogs have been lost in just the last 2 decades. It doesn't have to be like this and many conservationists are making efforts to prevent their extinction.
