IT: La Riserva Naturale Regionale della Foce dell’Isonzo ha una lunga storia e molti sono gli interventi che l’uomo ha realizzato su quest’ area. Alcuni in particolare hanno contribuito a rendere il territorio di cui si tratta, già estremamente ricco di elementi di interesse naturalistico, ancor più notevole anche sotto il profilo della biodiversità. La Riserva naturale è stata riconosciuta nel 2007, in occasione del XIV Convegno Italiano di Ornitologia, tenutosi a Trieste, come la migliore area d’Italia per il birdwatching da parte della associazione European Birdwatching Network (EBN) – Italy. Famosa per la ricca avifauna, la Riserva è anche molto importante sotto il profilo della flora e della diversità ambientale. Sono oltre 650 le specie di piante superiori spontanee presenti. Tra queste, un centinaio sono notevoli in termini di rarità e di vulnerabilità e 22 sono segnalate nelle Liste Rosse (nazionali e regionali) delle Piante d’Italia.
La cache è a 1,5 m di altezza, posizionata nella parte sud del sentiero, cioè quella che da verso il Fiume Isonzo.

EN:The Regional Nature Reserve of the "Foce dell'Isonzo" has a long history and many are the interventions that man has made on this area. Some in particular have contributed to making the area, already extremely rich in elements of natural interest, even more remarkable in terms of biodiversity. The Nature Reserve was recognised in 2007, on the occasion of the 14th Italian Convention of Ornithology, held in Trieste, as the best area in Italy for birdwatching by the association European Birdwatching Network (EBN) - Italy. Famous for its rich birdlife, the reserve is also very important in terms of flora and environmental diversity. There are over 650 species of wild higher plants present. Of these, about one hundred are remarkable in terms of rarity and vulnerability and 22 are reported in the Red Lists (national and regional) of the Plants of Italy.
The cache is at a height of 1.5 m, located in the southern part of the trail, i.e. the part that leads towards the Soča River.
