This Geocache hide is a plastic tube with screw top and requires a "fishing line" with magnet attached to retrieve the log (provided).
Continue along the Green trail path. Cache on your LHS up a grassed vehicle track.

MAGNETS:
- Produce a force called a magnetic field, invisible to us.
- Have two ends - a north pole and a south pole.
MAGNETISM:
Either attracts magnetic objects or pushes them away. If the same poles of two
magnets are placed near each other they push away and repel. If two different poles
are placed near each other they attract and pull together.
The first people to observe and comment on magnetic phenomena were the
Chinese. They called them “loving stones” because they “loved” metals. Such objects
were carried mostly for fortune-telling and magic tricks.
FIELD PUZZLE
This cache is a FIELD PUZZLE, which requires you to solve in order to open and sign the log. There are of course many different types:
- Displacement (use of water).
- Use of a Special tool to retrieve or open.
- Puzzle Box.
- Use of a UV torch.
Etc.
Normally you would have to figure out what is required, and may be even return with the appropriate tool or knowledge. As these types are very RARE in Moray and the majority of our caches are for the Geo-kids, we have supplied all.
