「西椎屋の景」は宇佐市院内町にある観光スポットです。
円錐形の山、秋葉様(あきばさま)を背景にした集落や棚田の景観が、ペルーのマチュピチュに似ていた事から、「宇佐のマチュピチュ」という愛称がつけられています。
国道387号線の旧道を利用した展望台が整備されており、毎年4〜11月には地元農産物や物産品の販売会も行われます。

"Nishishiiya-no-kei" is a sightseeing spot located in Innai Town, Usa City.
It is nicknamed "Machu Picchu of Usa" because of its resemblance to Machu Picchu, Peru, with the conical mountain, Akiba-sama, in the background, and its terraced rice paddies.
The observatory is built on the old road of National Route 387, and from April to November each year, sales of local agricultural products and goods are also held there.
