Iimori River is a short river which has its source near the border of Tsurugashima City and Hidaka City, flows mainly through the urban areas of Tsurugashima City and Sakado City, and joins the Oppe River in Kawajima Town, Hiki County. Oppe River joins the Arakawa River and it is finally connected to Tokyo Bay.
I hide some caches along Iimori River.
飯盛川は、鶴ヶ島市と日高市のあいだ近くに水源があり、鶴ヶ島市・坂戸市の市街地を通り、比企郡川島町で越辺川と合流する短い川です。合流する越辺川はやがて荒川と合流し、東京湾へ注いでいます。
鶴ヶ島市内の飯盛川沿いにキャッシュを隠しました。
Bridges upstream from here have no name, but this bridge has a name "Kotobuki Bridge".
This bridge is a part of "Nikko Kaido", an ancient road with length of about 150km which connects Hachioji, Tokyo and Nikko, Tochigi. In Edo Period, guardian samurais for Nikko Toshogu Shrine (dedicated to the founder of Edo Shogunate TOKUGAWA Ieyasu) walked from the base of guardians in Hachioji to their post Nikko in about 5 days.
The cache is hidden just near this bridge.
上流からここまでの飯盛川に掛かる橋は銘板等で名前を確認できませんでしたが、この橋は「寿橋」という銘板が付いています。この道は「日光街道」と地元では呼ばれていますが正確には八王子と日光を結ぶ「日光脇往還」の一部です。この道は、日光東照宮の守護を任務とする「八王子千人同心」が日光勤番のために通るもので、彼らは概ね4泊5日かけて行き来したそうです。
キャッシュは、この橋のすぐ側に隠しました。
