Who: Anyone who loves biking & caching
What: Biking/Caching
Where: The City of Fredericton Trail System
When: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm (approx)
Why: To enjoy the trails of Fredericton and some caching
More than 115 km of non-motorized multi-use trails are accessible to pedestrians, non-emission mobility-assisted devices (i.e., motorized wheelchairs), and cyclists. During the winter paved sections are plowed, while trails in Odell and Killarney Lake Parks are groomed for cross-country skiers, snowshoers, and walkers.
We will gather in the Parking Lot of Marysville Place. Most of the terrain is flat and the trail is paved or fine crushed rock. Cachers can use road bikes/hybrids/mountain bikes. E-bikes are welcome. Special caches will be placed and published a week prior to the event.
If you are coming from away and need to rent a bicycle, go to our website and book through our Mega V provider.
There is no alternate weather date. It will go rain or shine. A copy of the trail map can be found here.
