The event will be held at Forestview Lanes, 2345 W Dean Rd, Temperance, MI 48182, 500 ft East of the intersection of Douglas and Dean Rd. I have reserved a few tables on the patio. The tent covering the patio is not up as of the date of publishing this event but they hope the ground dries up and we will be under a tent on the day of the event. I am working with cachers in Wisconsin and will have a large number of trackables available for exchange.
Trackable Safe Exchange Info
Why a Trackable Safe Exchange? Are you ever concerned when dropping a trackable at an event that it might never be retrieved? Trackable Safe Exchange is a way to minimize that concern. I will try to have a record of the Geocacher name for all trackables physically picked up at the event.
Please make sure to record the retrieval of any trackables within one week of the Trackable Safe Exchange event.
Trackable safe exchange event CO will attempt to contact the retrieving Geocacher regarding any trackables still in inventory that the Geocacher noted as physically retrieving after one week of the event.
After that attempted communication, the trackable safe exchange event CO will contact the trackable owners for any trackables still in the event inventory and let the trackable owner know the name of the Geocacher who is named as physical retriever on the retrieval log.
PRIZE DRAWING
I plan on having a drawing around 15 minutes prior to the end of the event. Prizes - unactivated trackables, of course. All attendees are eligible to enter whether you participate in the trackable exchange or not.
Attendees who let me know how many trackables they have for exchange in a log on this event or via Geocaching Messaging at least 24 hours prior to the event will have an additional entry into the drawing. An additional entry in the drawing will also be provided for 24 hour advance notification for every 25 trackables to be exchanged. Advanced notification will allow me to prepare trackables for exchange.
