História kaštieľa Orlové sa viaže s históriou Považského hradu a jeho vlastníkov. Žigmund III. Balaša dal na prelome 16. a 17. stor. na miernom svahu nad malou osadou Orlové postaviť kúriu, „curiaSigmondHaza“, neskôr prestavanú na kaštieľ „castellumZigmonháza.“ Jej nadstavbou a rozšírením vzniklo nové šľachtické sídlo Balašovcov.
V prvej tretine 18. storočia ho prestavali a rozšírili. Roku 1773 kaštieľ dokončili úpravou kaplnky. Menšie úpravy sa vykonali v začiatkoch 19. storočia a začiatkom 20. storočia. Nákladnou opravou prešiel v 80. rokoch 20. storočia. V rokoch 2014-2016 uskutočnil Gino Holding rozsiahlu rekonštrukciu na hotel. Nájdete tu aj neskorobarokovú kaplnku a svadobný altánok zasadený v historickom parku.
Park bol dlho zanedbaný, zarastený náletovými drevinami. Vďaka rekonštrukcii kaštieľa a jeho premene na hotel je v súčasnosti postarané aj o park.
Kedysi sa tu nachádzala krásna lipová aleja, ktorú tvorilo 46 líp (vek 200 – 250 rokov), mnohé z nich už zahynuli a nahradili ich vysadením mladých líp. Pekný kút parku tvoria mohutné platany západné, jeden z nich s obvodom takmer 400 cm je najväčším v okrese. Zaujímavá je aj skupina troch cypruštekov Lawsonových.
Pre hostí tu pribudli altánky, lavičky, stroje na cvičenie... Uprostred parku voliéra s vtáctvom.

Upozornenie. Keš sa nachádza na súkromnom pozemku so súhlasom majiteľa. Park je otvorený pre verejnosť celoročne od 6:00 do 22:00, ale môže sa stať, že bude z prevádzkových dôvodov krátkodobo uzatvorený.

The Orlové Manor-House Park
The history of the Orlové Manor-House is linked with the history of the Považský hrad Castleand and its owners. Zigmund III. Balassa had built a “Curia Sigmond Haza“ on a slight slope, above the little Orlové settlement, at the turn of the 16th and 17th century. The Curia was later rebuilt to the „castellum Zigmonháza“ manor-house. Its superstructure and extension created a new noble residence of the Balassas.
Manor-House was rebuilt and enlarged in the first third of 18th century. The building was completed with chapel in 1773. Minor modifications were made in the early 19th and early 20th centuries. The park was neglected for a long time, overgrown with invasive trees. Thanks to the reconstruction of the mansion and its transformation into a hotel, the park is now also taken care of.
There used to be a beautiful linden avenue here, consisting of 46 linden trees (200-250 years old), many of them have already died. They were replaced by young lindens. A nice corner of the park is made up of huge American plane trees, one of them with a circumference of almost 400 cm is the largest in the district. A group of three Lawson cypresses is also interesting.
Gazebos, benches, outdoor fitness machines have been added for guests... There is an aviary with birds in the middle of the park.

Schlosspark Orlové
Die Geschichte des Schlosses Orlové ist mit der Geschichte der Burg Bystrica und ihrer Besitzer verbunden. Sigmund III. Balassa ließ zum Wechsel des 16. Und 17. Jahrhunderts auf dem sanften Hügel über der kleinen Ortschaft Orlové eine Kurie, „curiaSigmondHaza“ bauen, die später zum Schloss „castellumZigmonháza“ umgebaut wurde. Durch seinen Aufbau und Vergrößerung entstand der neue Adelssitz der Familie Balassa.
In der ersten Drittel des 18. Jahrhunderts wurde das Schloss umgebaut und vergrößert und im Jahre 1773 mit der Ausstattung der Kapelle beendet. Kleinere Adaptationen wurden anfangs 19. Jahrhunderts und anfangs 20. Jahrhunderts und eine aufwändige Rekonstruktion in 80. Jahren des 20. Jahrhunderts realisiert. In Jahren 2014-2016 realisierte Gino Holding eine umfangreiche Rekonstruktion zum Hotel.
Der Park war lange ungepflegt, mit wilden Gehölzen bewachsen. Dank Rekonstruktion des Schlosses und seines Umbaus zum Hotel ist heute auch der Park gepflegt.
In früheren Zeiten war da eine herrliche Lindenallee von 46 Linden (Alter 200-250 Jahre), viele von ihnen sind schon gestorben und wurden von jungen Linden ersetzt. Einen schönen Winkel im Park bilden die imposanten westlichen Platanen, einer von ihnen mit Stammumfang 400 cm ist der größte im Bezirk. Auch die Gruppe von drei Lawsons Scheinzypressen ist interessant.
Im Park befinden sich auch Lauben, Bänke, Übungsmaschinen… In der Parkmitte eine Voliere für Vögel.
