Parramatta Park, Parramatta
It's time to head out to Eels territory for the next Geocaching NSW CITO event to help celebrate this year’s First International CITO season. By lending a hand to clean up part of the upper reaches of the Parramatta River, you’ll earn the Season 1 CITO Souvenir for 2023.
This will be a traditional clean-up event where we'll gather rubbish from the parklands, bush and banks of the river.
Entry to Parramatta Park is via one-way travel along Pitt St, Parramatta. Alternatively, there is an entrance off Queens Rd, Westmead. The road around Parramatta Park is one way with a 30km/h speed limit. Police do patrol this road so watch your speed! After parking, look for the GCNSW Team with our portable gazebo and banner.
Attendees should wear sturdy shoes, gloves and sun protection. Don't forget some drinking water and insect repellant too.
Plastic bags will be provided. If suitable bins for disposal of the rubbish collected are not available, we would kindly ask attendees to take their bag(s) home to dispose in their bin.
We will follow Covid19 protocols and provide hand sanitiser. Please bring a mask if you wish.
Please post a "Will Attend" log so you will receive any announcements that are made.

We're hoping for a good turn-out to help do our bit for the environment.
