Cache is located in the Valley of the Gods, Utah. Bring water. There is a 0.4 mile hike to the cache. ***I realize that in this area, cryptobiotic soil (dark, crusty-looking stuff) is everywhere, but as you approach the cache, please try to avoid walking on it. Thanks! *** Elevation: 4504 feet.

This cache is now over 5 years old, and is, I believe, among the 100 oldest caches in Utah, along with the two others hidden in this area on the same date in 2001. I replaced the plastic container with an unused metal paint can, very shiny, and quite durable, as long as the lid is replaced properly. I hope it lasts, but if not, I don't mind making another visit. Cache was still well-stocked, and thanks to all the cachers who have kept it that way.
Original Description: Cache is a medium sized plastic container. You will have to get pretty low to see it. I dropped in one this cache on 11-23-01. It is doing well, and winter is a great time to visit this area, in case any of you get a case of "cabin fever" and need to get out.
