I don't expect this cache to get a lot of footfall. It's up a farm road in an area where there aren't any other nearby caches. It's a micro, so no 'big box' appeal, there are no clever features, field puzzles or themed container. But I was up here on an unsuccessful scouting mission for a possible series of hides, and arrived at this spot.
I was steered to this location by the local farmer who recommended it as a nice place to have a seat and enjoy the view. And what a view.
So I hid the spare cache container I carry about with me sometimes and decided to share the location. Hope you like it.
Parking waypoints are given for two places to park near the cache, but both should be approached from the north at the turn off marked for Parkley Farm & Fishery as it's a no-through road from the south. It's also a nice but lengthy walk up from Linlithgow, and another good walk up from the south parking up at Cauldhame Farm Entrance, also added as a waypoint. That route takes you through the farmyard so be respectful and keep dogs on a lead. Map below shows immediate area of cache.
