Geocache Description:

岡口門は、和歌山城の南東にあたり慶長五年（1600）浅野幸長公入国後に、大手門として創建されました。元和五年（1619）徳川頼宣公入国後、一の橋口門が大手門に改められたため、元和七年（1621）に搦手門として改修され現在に至っています。
岡口門は和歌山城で唯一、重要文化財に指定されています。
