Welcome to the Yorkshire in Bloom Platinum award winning York Cemetery.
Since 2017 we have been holding regular CITO events here, working alongside the regular volunteer team to help improve this amazing green space in the heart of York
Cachers from far and wide have so far given nearly 600 hours of their free time and every hour has helped us achieve our award winning status.
This year as part of the 'The Big Help Out' to mark the coronation of His Majesty The King we are putting on a little event after our latest CITO to say 'thank you' to all our past, present and maybe future volunteers.
So come along and say hello, if you've ever contributed here or just fancy finding out what we can offer in the future you are more than welcome. You can expect tea, cakes and possibly a sausage on a stick, but feel free to bring your own picnic and enjoy this amazing space.

Please register a 'will attend' it's likely there will be a few announcements running up to the date and it'll help us gauge numbers for the day.
The event will be held in and around the Harriet Centre and surrounding area.
As per other Cemetery events there will not be an event log book or trackable drop off point, swap among yourselves but don't leave anything behind.
Children are welcome but must be supervised by an adult at all times. No dogs are allowed in the cemetery, apart from registered assistance dogs.
