We had a short series of caches along a local walk that many years ago we used daily to exercise our old dog Partly (a mix of breeds, partly one breed, partly another). We used to take a loop round taking in a stretch of Marriotts way. With 'The Close to Nature' series that was along Marriotts Way now being archived we felt it was time we set out a new series to replace some of it. The whole loop is extremely popular with dog walkers, cyclists, runners & walkers. So keep a good eye out for muggles, it can get busy.
The caches are a mix of sizes, some custom, some basic, some premium. Non should be too taxing though, they are hidden to be found. The usual tools are required....pen & tweezers.
The circuit is about 3 miles. Most of the route is on well formed tracks, with a short section of busy road (with pavement). There are some places though where it can get very muddy, especially by the River Tud in winter. Bikes & buggies shouldn't have too much trouble getting round, though one area may require a bit of back tracking when it's very wet.
