Please be careful when approaching the cache and do not disturb any pieces of corogated tin that may be in the area as during the spring, summer and early autumn may have some snakes or other reptiles warming themselves beneath it. Bordon & Whitehill is the last remaining area in the U.K. that has all 12 species of our snakes, reptiles and amphibians breeding in our various nature habitats.
In the spring the pond near the cafe will contain many Tadpoles, Frogs, Toads and Newts. You may also spot some lizards sunbathing on any sand banks that face towards the sun.
all caches that are placed in the Bordon Inclosure, the Hogmoor Inclosure and in the Deadwater Valley have been placed with the permission of the Deadwater Valley Trust.
