When we were growing up we enjoyed the "Novelty Songs" that were played on the radio occasionally. Songs like "Monster Mash", "The Streak", "The Purple People Eater", "Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah", "The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late)", and of course, "Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini". The goofiness of the songs was just plain funny to me and my friends.
