Geocache Description:


和歌山城の表門である一の橋大手門から入って30ｍほど進むと、右手の石垣上に大木が見えてきます。 
これが一の橋の樟樹です。 
この樟は、幹の周囲が7ｍ、樹高が25ｍ、樹冠が35ｍあり、城内最大の樹木であり、樹齢は約450年と言われています。
また、この樟は和歌山県の県指定文化財（天然記念物）に指定されています。
