This cache is placed at the posted coordinates in remembrance of our daughter Izzy who is celebrating her first birthday in Heaven today. She would have turned 6 years old this year. Izzy enjoyed having her birthday around Easter time and even came home from the hospital for the first time on Easter Sunday just 12 days after her first open heart surgery as a newborn. So please enjoy Izzy's Spring Chick Hatchery Easter basket letterbox! Have fun finding the self-inking stamp as well as the log book hidden in the cache box. The cache is hidden near a picnic area and playscape, so come prepared for fun! Please replace everything just as you found it, thank you.
The stamp, pen, and log book need to stay in the cache, but the other toys and stickers are available to trade as swag. We are also starting the journey for the trackable "Izzy's 10 Favorite Foods" from this cache today!

This cache is hidden at Government Canyon State Natural Area with permission from the superintendent. There is an entrance fee of $6 per person for those ages 13 and up. Children ages 12 and under are admitted for free. Alternately, a Texas State Parks Pass can be purchased for $70 which allows unlimited entry for all members of the family to all Texas State Parks for one year. Park hours are 7 am - 10 pm on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday only. The park is closed on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
