Nice easy walk down (not so easy back up) a nice trail, you’ll come to a small trail heading east off the main trail that takes you to a rather large Cedar tree, with a nice place to sit (I need history why this is here). Why don’t you have a quick seat, before walking back up the rest of the hill. It’s a nice place to hang out for a while, you can hear the water flowing down molasses creek (usually more than the traffic of 169), and see all the wildlife around this area.
Hope you took the time to do the other caches in the area. Which most are premium, if you can’t see them.. that’s why.
If you walk past the tree, there is quite the overlooking view of the Molasses Creek, and if you are brave enough you could swing on the death swing!.. Just kidding, do not swing on it!!
I am interested in this road / trail, anyone have any history about it, I would be happy to learn about it. Looks like it was 136th Ave S, and there are some large flat areas cut into the hill side, wondering if it was homes / logging / mining that created this.
Anyway, Happy Caching!
