We are sooooo excited to be a part of MOGA 2023 and to be able to be the host county for their 20th anniversary celebration. Since MOGA is a puzzle based mega event, we decided to get things started a little early with a logic puzzle to warm up those brain cells. RACE TO MOGA 2023 - LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, START YOUR ENGINES!!!
Five geocachers got together and decided to have a friendly race. They all met up at U of M Flint to begin their adventure. Their goal is simple. At precisely 10 a.m. they will race off to visit each of five different parks to not only experience the cool features in each park, but also to find a geocache in each park. (They must also stop for lunch and eat some coneys because they can’t be in Flint without eating some coney dogs.)
At exactly 10 am, the five geocachers raced off in different directions. Who will get back to U of M Flint first and win the giant 20th Anniversary MOGA Coney Car trophy? Yep that is right… the trophy has a car shaped like a hotdog on it complete with coney sauce. Who wouldn’t want this cool trophy? What you will need to do is to determine which park each cacher went to first, which car they used, and which place they took in the race.
- The cachers that came in first and third didn’t go to Richfield Park first.
- Neither the GTO nor the Corvette started at Stepping Stone Falls and did not come in last place, however, one of them went to Bluebell Beach first.
- The cachers that were driving the Bel Air came in second place.
- +mo went to neither Bluebell Beach nor For-Mar Nature Preserve first and did not drive the Corvette.
- pee-paw + mee-maw drove neither the Chevelle nor the Rocket and visited neither Richfield Park nor Mounds ORV Park first.
- andiwr and BigReam got distracted and finished the race 3 places after pee-paw + mee-maw due to having too much fun at their first location, which was neither Bluebell Beach nor Stepping Stone Falls. Also, andiwr and BigReam were not driving a Chevrolet.
- The Rocket started at Mounds ORV Park and neither finished fourth nor was driven by GLC.
- Mr. and Mrs. Kite Dancer finished the race two places after GLC and two places before andiwr and BigReam. Mr. and Mrs. Kite Dancer visited neither Stepping Stone Falls nor Bluebell beach first and they were not in a Chevrolet.
