Cache #179
The Federation Council is a local government area located in the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. This area was formed in 2016 from the merger of the Corowa Shire with its neighbouring Urana Shire. These caches are some random additions to encourage more visitors to this part of the world.
Whitehead Street Wetlands is a nice little area to go for a walk. The easiest spot locally to find Zebra Finches, there are usually quite a few waterbirds about as well. A bike path loops through the wetlands, but this cache is located on a bridge near the entrance. You will need a pen to sign this log. Never seen a snake here, but wouldn't be surprised if they are about.
