The River Road Reading Corner consists of three unique Little Free Library bookcases and box that serves as a community exchange that welcomes readers from age 1 to 101 with new titles added weekly spanning all genres.
The “All Creatures Great and Small,” theme of the Book Ark supports James Herriot's (author and Yorkshire Veterinarian's) love and care for animals, so much so that visitors are encouraged to walk their fur friends and wrap leash on the box hook as they claim their cache of choice and choose a favorite book or two to take home.
The location is available 24/7 with overhead street lighting. In addition, each library is equipped with battery operated lighting, and solar lights surrounding the perimeter to help patrons pick that perfect book.
