Horseshoe Bay is a large flat golden beach north of Oban. It can be reached by a 40 minute walk, hire car or 10 minute ebike ride. Ebikes can be hired in Oban.
Horseshoe Bay is a great place to look for shells and if you are lucky, you might come across a paua shell. Take your time and have a seat to enjoy the peace of this stunning, often deserted beach.
