Twente



Bij Twente denk je misschien aan kleinschalig boerenlandschap met glooiende essen en kabbelende beekjes. Wist je dat je in deze regio ook uitgestrekte hoogveengebieden vindt. 
Twente is daarnaast ook bekend om zijn landgoederen.
Deze zijn veelal aangelegd door textielfabrikanten tijdens de hoogtijdagen van de textielindustrie.
Grote variatie dus in landschapstypen, plant- en diersoorten en cultuurhistorie.
Je zult wel denken: Twente, Dat is toch die regio vol natuurgebieden, landgoederen en boerderijen. En je hebt nog gelijk ook.
Daarom kun je bij ons ook zo goed van de natuur genieten.
Fiets langs de mooie landschappen en geniet van de omgeving.

When you think of Twente, you might think of a small-scale farm landscape with rolling landscape and babbling brooks. Did you know that you will also find extensive raised moor areas in this region. Twente is also known for its country estates. These were often built by textile manufacturers during the heyday of the textile industry. So there is great variation in landscape types, plant and animal species and cultural history.

De pannenkoek




Een pannenkoek is een gerecht, bestaande uit meel, ei, melk en wat zout, dat in een koekenpan met verhitte vetstof wordt gebakken. Hoewel er ook andere varianten bestaan, werd een pannenkoek oorspronkelijk van half boekweitmeel en half tarwemeel gebakken. Pannenkoeken worden vaak opgerold of opgeplooid gegeten met zoete of hartige vulling. Men kan ze zowel warm als koud eten.

Pancake




A pancake is a dish consisting of flour, egg, milk and some salt, which is fried in a frying pan with heated fat. Although there are other variants, a pancake was originally baked from half buckwheat flour and half wheat flour. Pancakes are often eaten rolled or folded with sweet or savory fillings. You can eat them hot or cold.
