In order to fulfill one of the requirements for their Geocaching Merit Badge, the scouts of Troop 405 have elected to hide a geocache and also to release some travel bugs into the wild. This is a nice, out of the way park in North Durham. There are also several Pokestops nearby, if you want to double dip.
American Village seemed like a perfect place to hide a cache themed around scouting. You are seeking a small lock-and-lock hidden in a traditional way. This should not be too difficult and should be fun and easy for kids to find.
There are several travel bugs in the cache. If you take one, please move it along, even if you are not taking it to its final destination. If you have travelers you would like to leave, please feel free. The goodies in the cache will be restocked from time to time.
