The Ayit Waterfall is located in the midst of the Golan region and can be found in the Aiyt stream, a tributary of the Yehudia stream. It's adjacent to road No. 808, which is also referred to as the waterfalls route. This road location is significant as it marks the point where the shallow channels of the Golan streams give way to deep canyons and awe-inspiring waterfalls. Out of all the waterfalls in the area, Ayit waterfall is the most easily accessible from the road. There is a designated parking lot nearby, as well as short walking paths that offer stunning views of the waterfall and the basalt columns along the river cliff. In numerous canyons situated in the Golan, the columns phenomenon can be observed. This occurrence came into being when the lava that once flowed in the region solidified and subsequently fractured, resulting in the formation of columns exhibiting a varying number of sides, ranging from four to six. As a result of the weathering of the basalt canyons, the columns became visible to the eye.
