Om cafeén

Bibliotekscaféen er et veletableret aktiveringsprojekt i Hvidovre. Projektet har eksisteret siden 1990. Caféen fungerer som frokostcafé for Hvidovre kommunes borgere. Personalet i cafeen er overvejende ufaglærte. Alligevel bestræber vi os på at drive caféen professionelt med mad af høj kvalitet og god service

Vi aktiverer ledige borgere i caféen for at afklare den enkeltes kvalifikationer i forhold til at få et job eller blive opkvalificeret til et bredere jobområde. Hovedsigtet er altid, at vi sammen med den ledige finder den hurtigste vej til arbejdsmarkedet eller uddannelse.

About the cafe
The library cafe is a well-established activation project in Hvidovre. The project has existed since 1990. The café functions as a lunch café for Hvidovre municipality's citizens. The staff in the cafe are predominantly unskilled. Nevertheless, we strive to run the café professionally with high quality food and good service

We activate unemployed citizens in the café to clarify the individual's qualifications in relation to getting a job or being up-qualified for a wider job area. The main aim is always that we find the fastest way to the labor market or education together with the unemployed person.
