D.K. is a master of decomposition. Fungi, bacteria, and invertebrates are D.K.'s friends and hers to control!
Our hero, D.K. works with, and controls all these decomposers, causing items to decay with a touch as well as making mushrooms by throwing and growing spores.
You might think she's a villain and her powers are yucky and perhaps even dangerous to humans but she's actually one of nature's strongest heroes.
Her abilities provide space and nutrients for everything to thrive and survive.
Decomposers take all organic waste that plants, animals, and people create and turn it into vital nutrients for our ecosystems.
There are many different kinds of decomposers like fungi, bacteria, and a variety of invertebrates like worms.
