If you are doing the three Jells Park Traditional caches, this cache is close to one of the fires that was lit deliberately in 2019. Below is a before and after photo of the area. Rejuvenation has started.
The orginal cache placement is now on a path that has been closed for rejuvination ! - so I have moved it to a new location to the north as a new traditional cache since it was a popular cache.
We had a hot spell in the summer of 2019-2020, following a drought in Australia. Bushfires were still burning in Gippsland when these caches were placed. And then .... some virus took over ..Now in 2023 and we are living with the virus.
In 2021. I added a short multicache on the west side of the lake so you can now do a round trip with a purpose.
Jells Park Read and Reeds
This park is close to suburbia, so thankfully the fires lit by the arsonist were soon controlled. It is marvelous to see the bush start to grow back and that birds are aplenty here. Jells Park is a great

Then you head North towards Dandenong creek and cross it and follow the path for a short distance.
To find the cache you head Left into the bushes for a short distance off the path - you are concealed here.
The nearest car park to this cache is the Jells Park East car park at WP listed.
The cache - You are looking for a hidden 1L container with a log, pencil, and room for swappables. The cache is camouflaged.
