This is my 4000th hide in correct order. I have a few more right now because I was hiding the MIT geoart when I noticed I was coming up on my 4000th hide.
I started hiding caches on 10/13/06 and since then I have Hidden many types of hides. I’m always trying to come up with containers that require little or no maintenance. Much to my wife’s dismay I usually test out new types of cache containers in my yard to see how they will hold up. I’ll even hang them in my pool underwater to make sure they don’t leak.
This will be a Maker Madness cache creation event. During the event I will bring a few tools of the hiding trade and even let cachers build a cache for them to hide. I’ll show you what works for me and help out with any questions you may have when hiding a cache. It will be a workshop for hiding geocaches.
The event will be held at the pavilion at the Nicholson Nature Center rain or shine. There are many caches to find in the Nature Center after the event.
Many cachers don’t know the nature center is here and I’m hoping everyone will enjoy walking the trails after the event.
