Geocache Description:

Lang Ranch switch back trail not to difficult if you pace yourself. Great view of the Conejo Valley.

This is a nice uphill trail about a mile long that gives you nice views of Lang Ranch and North Ranch over looking the Conejo Valley.

  Trailhead Coord. on Lang Ranch Parkway= N 34° 12.749 W 118° 49.218

You can see Boney Mountain in the Santa Monica Mountains, the ocean way off in the distance,Santa Cruz Island, The volcanic Mount Clef Ridge, Conejo Peak ... etc. The cache has a few little trinkets my kids left, a book, a CD, a piece of Columbian Amber that needs polishing, although you can still see the 20 million year old insects embedded within. A log book and a few other suprises. The cache box is a dark green military RPG container tucked under some scrub brush...best to look uphill!
