Balvan Sivnica je največji balvan v dolini Kamniške Bistrice in eden največjih balvanov v jugovzhodnem delu Alp. Ker naj bi bil kar 14-krat večji od Žagane peči, ga neizkušen pohodnik hitro lahko zamenja za steno kakšne večje gore.
To je mogočna skalna tvorba, a zaradi okoliškega gozda najmanj opažena. Visoka je štirideset metrov in je z zadnje strani dostopna z nekaj izpostavljenega plezanja. Veličastna je tudi previsna stena, pod katero je nekoč stalo krmišče, zdaj pa je ostal samo raven prostor, na katerem včasih kurijo ogenj.
Sivnica je priljubljeno plezališče s kar nekaj opremljenimi smermi.
Dostop je po potki, ki se v prvem levem ovinku odcepi od ceste, po kateri pridemo do Lepega kamna. S Sivnice je zelo lep razgled po celi dolini.

The Sivnica Boulder is the largest boulder in the Kamniška Bistrica Valley and one of the largest boulders in the south-eastern part of the Alps. As it is said to be 14 times bigger than Žagana Peč, an inexperienced hiker can quickly mistake it for the face of a bigger mountain. It is a mighty rock formation, but the surrounding forest makes it less noticed. It is forty metres high and is accessible from the back by some exposed climbing. The overhanging wall is also magnificent, under which there used to be a feeding trough, but now there is only a flat area where they sometimes build a fire.
Sivnica is a popular climbing area with quite a few equipped routes.
Access is via a path that branches off from the road leading to Lepi kamen at the first left-hand bend. Sivnica has a very nice view over the whole valley.
