The Virgin Mary overlooks a portion of the river from about 1 mile west of its mouth direction further upstream. Although there is not much of streaming, as it undergoes the daily change of tides which have an effect even 2 miles into Town.
The norther shore is accompanied by a Quai called "malecon", while on the southside there are orchard style settlements mainly owned or rented by american/canadian expats.
The picture of the river has been made during the "duckrace" a yearly event sponsered by the Rotary Club for fundraising purposes.
The cache container is hanging from a Bougainvillea.
